If you are a new user of wordpress, you might be wondering if there is any way to insert title and nofollow for links in wordpress? Well, as wordpress is one of the greatest platforms in this century and there are lots of great wordpress developers out there… so yes, there is a plugin. That plugin will help you to include title and nofollow for links in your posts or pages.
In the previous tutorial, I have discussed how to add rel nofollow to external links in wordpress manually and how to add nofollow tag in wordpress automatically. If you don’t have much time to optimize each of your posts or pages, you can check that post. Furthermore, if you already have a list of links that should be dofollow on your website or blog and rest should be nofollow, you can also take a look at our previous post. But if you want to take control on each post then you can continue reading this post.
In this tutorial, I am going to discuss how you can install “Title and Nofollow For Links” plugin in wordpress and how you could use it properly. I will also make a video tutorial on this post. You can come back after 1-2 days and check at the bottom of this post for the video tutorial link.
Insert Title and Nofollow for Links in WordPress
Insert title and nofollow for links is a great wordpress plugin that restores the title field (which was evacuated from WordPress version 4.2) in the insert link popup box. Moreover, this plugin adds a new Add rel=”nofollow” to link checkbox to it.
Installation process is so simple, you can check plugin setup instructions here.
Once you installed and activated Insert title and nofollow for links wordpress plugin, you are free to use it. No need to update any settings. Start creating a new post or page and select some texts to create link and hit the “insert/edit link” icon from the visual window.
You will see 2 new functions called “Title” and “Add rel=”nofollow” to link“. Before installing “Insert Title and Nofollow for Links” plugin these two features were not available. Now you can enter your desired title for the link and mark that as nofollow.
Now you might have a question in your mind, what will happen if you remove this plugin in future? Don’t worry, if you delete this plugin in future for any reason, your existing posts or pages links will not be affected.
