Hello Everyone, this is the 3rd and final part of Your Ad Account has been Flagged for Policy Violations. If you didn’t check part 1 and part 2 already, then I request you to read Part 1 and Part 2 first before reading this article.
Your Ad Account has been Flagged for Policy Violations
Your Ad Account has been Flagged for Policy Violations – Part 2
Facebook is a great platform for new entrepreneurs, there is no question about that. But Facebook is not mature like Google yet and hence you might face “account flagged” issue for unknown reason, just like me. If you are a victim, if Facebook blocked your ad account or suspended your credit card for unknown reason, you should continue reading this post.
Last time I sent following email to Sara (Facebook’s representative). I am adding that message again here just for a recap:
Hi Sara,Thanks for your reply! I was waiting for your reply. Honestly speaking, I don’t believe I have run any misleading ads. I think it’s a mistake/misunderstanding from Facebook policy team. Generally, when an ad copy has any issue, it first gets rejected. Repeated violations can cause account temporarily suspended. Or if someone is not paying the money that one owes to Facebook for a long time, that account may get restricted.
But it’s really awkward for me that my card is suspended as well as my ad account! It seems like I am a criminal who was trying to sell some drugs or arms and that’s why Facebook policy team suspended my card as well as my ad account at the same time!!! In reality, I didn’t run any ads which would violate Facebook terms. Please check all my previous ad copies and I believe you will understand.
I am really surprised of this act and I am hoping that Facebook will withdraw this restriction from my ad account and card.
Hi Jewel,
Thank you for your inquiry,
As I checked further, I would like to update with you that the credit card (Mastercard – 8477) has been re-enabled in the account (AID 743274699145032). And, I am still waiting for the reply of the reason behind the disabled credit card in the account (AID 10153830091436682)
If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best Regards,
Sara
I read and re-read again! Was it for real? My problem solved?! I was completely speechless. I was feeling so happy that I couldn’t express my feelings in words! As I have only one master card and I had no other option to get a new mastercard with USD balance from Payoneer, I was really happy that I sent following reply to Sara:
Hello Sara,
I am totally speechless now. I am feeling so happy that I want to shout “Allahu Akbar” so loud. Thanks a lot for your good news.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Though I could run Facebook ads from 743274699145032 account but I was also waiting to hear the update of my another ad account: 10153830091436682
Anyway, I tried to run an ad from my active ad account 743274699145032 but it got rejected at the first instance! I didn’t want to get my account blocked again. So I didn’t retry to run the ad that was rejected. I simply sent an email to Sara to know what’s the exact reason that I couldn’t promote that post.
Hello Sara Again,
Can you please check pin post of this page:
https://www.facebook.com/buyperfumeinbangladesh/
I tried to boost the first post (video post and it’s pin post too) but it’s
rejected. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Ekhlas Uddin Jewel
Here’s the reply I received from Sara:
Hi Jewel,
Hope you are well,With regards to the deactivated account (AID 10153830091436682), it is now active and, thus, your card (MasterCard *8477) should be possible for payment.
And, when it is not possible to boost the post from the page, as I checked from our side, it works from our side as shown in the screenshot.

Okay, I asked Sara to check the pin video post but She checked another post. But it’s alright as I got the hint what to do next!
Here’s the reply I sent to Sara:
Hi Sara,
Thanks for your quick response. I will do what you have suggested and give you an update.
So I did exactly what she said. I deleted history from Google Chrome browser. As I couldn’t promote that Pin video post with this: 743274699145032 account, I wished to boost that video post with 10153830091436682 account. But I didn’t do that. Please note, 10153830091436682 is the first Facebook ad account of mine where I have added my mastercard as primary payment option.
Guess what? Facebook again deactivated 10153830091436682 ad account for policy violation! For what? I don’t know.
Wasn’t it funny? I got notification from Sara 1 day ago that 10153830091436682 ad account reactivated. But it’s again deactivated on 3rd December, 2016 without any reason. I didn’t even try to run any ad this time from 10153830091436682 account.
Therefore, I asked Sara what’s going on:
Hello Sara Again! This ad account {Jewel Raz (10153830091436682)} is again deactivated for policy violation though I didn’t run any ad from this account yet from Yesterday (after you said it was reactivated). What’s going on?
Please check attached image.
I think if I add same credit card in 2-3 Facebook accounts, this will happen? Can you please check as soon as you can and let me know?
Hi Jewel,
Hope you are well,With regards to the deactivated ad account (Jewel Raz (10153830091436682)),
I have further requested whether this situation is related with the previous deactivation. Also, with your request whether to add the same credit card in 2-3 Facebook accounts,
it is possible to use the same card; however, there are cases when the accounts can get disabled.I hope the above has answered your concern.
Thanks,
Sara

Hello Sara,Thanks for your reply. I was waiting for your reply.
What about 743274699145032 account? This is also deactivated! Can you please check?
Next day (December 07, 2016) Sara replied:
Hi Jewel,
Hope you are well,I understand that both accounts have been deactivated, and I currently have escalated for review once again.
1) 10153830091436682
2) 743274699145032When I receive any reply, I will get back to you soonest.
Best Regards,
Sara
After a while, she said:
Hi Jewel,
Hope you are well,As I checked further, I found that both accounts are active.
1) 10153830091436682
2) 743274699145032
If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.Thanks,
Oh Facebook! What are you?
Lesson learned:
- We should not use same credit card in multiple ad accounts.
- We should use Google Chrome browser whenever we are going to run an ad in Facebook.
Facebook reactivated both of my ad accounts but I am running ads only from one account. So far, ad accounts are running fine and I hope I will never ever face this awkward situation again in my life.
Lastly, I want to end this post with a funny reply I received from Sara on December 21st, 2016. Here’s what I received:
Hi Jewel,
Hope you are well,With regards to the suspended ad account, I learned that your account has been disabled for not following Facebook’s Advertising Guidelines.
Ad accounts are evaluated for policy compliance and the quality of ad content. When accounts have run ads that aren’t policy compliant, they get disabled.Your account was disabled for running misleading e-commerce ads, which don’t include adequate and transparent information regarding your products, payments, billings, shipping and returns policy.
These ads have resulted in high negative feedback from people on Facebook. Our goal is to provide the highest quality user experience.
We reserve the right to reject any advertising that we deem contrary to these objectives.Similarly, we reserve the right to close ad accounts that create ads that are contrary to these objectives.
For this reason, if any of your ads have been removed or your ad account has been disabled, we won’t be able to reactivate them.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please consider this decision final.
Thank you for your understanding,Sara
🙂 as I said earlier, both of my ad accounts are running fine! I don’t know why Sara sent above email?
LOL this is funny, when will everyone catch on? I’ve been getting a lot of grief as well, and rechecked the ad there’s nothing wrong with it. Apparently they hire the best people.
Yes, apparently they hire the best people! But I think this is the most common problem you will find in every industry: “Synchronization” problem.
How to contact ‘Sara’ or any other support staff. Anu email id?
I don’t know, honestly! I checked the email address of Sara but it seems Facebook assigns dynamic email addresses for all the cases. Here is the email that Sara uses: case++aazzqltixym2qo(@)support.facebook.com
